After my Grandma passed away in 2013 my family and I decided to take on the care of my Grandfather with Alzheimer's. This started off as small duties to him, slowly morphing into full time 24/7 live-in care. The worse his condition got the more time I spent along side him, helping to cook, clean and feed by hand. As I went from my early teens to being a young adult, my love of photography grew. I slowly began to document the more intimate moments we shared, the calm contemplative moments as young carer.
